Members of the juries at the 65th Venice International Film Festival have been chosen.
Venezia 65: Wim Wenders (President), Juriy Arabov, Valeria Golino, Douglas Gordon, John Landis, Lucrecia Martel, and Johnnie To.
Orizzonti: Chantal Akerman (President), Nicole Brenez, Barbara Cupisti, José Luis Guerin, and Veiko Õunpuu.
Luigi De Laurentiis Award for a Debut Film: Abdellatif Kechiche (President), Alice Braga, Gregory Jacobs, Donald Ranvaud, and Heidrun Schleef.
Corto Cortissimo: Amos Poe (President), Gianni Rondolino, and Joana Vicente.
782 participants –mostly from outside Italy (51%)– from 48 countries registered for the international online competition, Everyville. The competition is aimed at university students of all disciplines in Italy and abroad. The closing date for entries was July 1st. The submitted projects will now be selected by an international jury. The ten winners and the 40 projects gaining special mention will be displayed at the 11th International Architecture Exhibition, Out There: Architecture Beyond Building (September 14th – November 23rd).
